His articles are regularly featured in a number of healthcare marketing publications and news services including, SmartBrief for Health Care Marketers, Strategic Health Care Marketing, Healthcare Strategy Alert, eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, Spectrum, and Healthcare Marketing Report. And if all that doesn’t keep him busy enough, he’s also a renowned healthcare marketing blogger, brand consultant, and social media strategist. He is a member of the national judging panels for the Web Health Awards and the National Health Information Awards.
Dan served on the Digital Engagement Task Force of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) of the American Hospital Association. As co-chair of the Task Force, Dan led the development of SHSMD’s Social Media Advocates Program. He serves on the advisory board of eHealthcare Strategy & Trends magazine. Dan is an active member of the Forum for Healthcare Strategists of the Healthcare Strategy Institute. He served for many years on the Board of Directors for the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) and is a former board president. Dan also served on the board of the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (CHPRMS).
